Interview with an outstanding alumnus, Nai-Ti Yeh, at the College of Management

The 3rd GMAT Program presentation was held in YZU. Many alumni who joined this program in the previous two years also attended this presentation to cheer for their fellow schoolmates. Outstanding alumni from elite industries, such as China Alibaba Group Company, He Ching Company from Thailand, Sudo Incorporation from Singapore, Asustek, Chroma ATE Inc., BenQ Corporation, and DHL Logistic Company, expressed their best wishes via overseas video recording and some even came personally to give their encouragements and blessings to the fellow students.

Interview with an outstanding alumnus, Nai-Ti Yeh, at the College of Management

Nai-Ti Yeh is an alumnus of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and is currently President of ICP DAS CO., LTD. She chose YZU for her EMBA degree for several reasons. First, YZU has been ranked the number one private university. Second, although YZU is a young university, it has been improving rapidly. Third, her study plan is to learn about management and she considers the College of Management at YZU a better choice than those at top universities in Hsinchu.

Chin-Ting Liu, an MBA alumnus, talks about the career of a product manager at electronic industry

Chin-Ting Liu, an alumnus of the Master of Business Administration, has experience as a product manager (PM) in Wistron Corporation, Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd., and Cal-Comp Electronics & Communications Co., Ltd. In a talk to students, Liu gives several key points for learning roles at work: learn from the R&D people more, do not be afraid to lose face, learn as much as you can, get along with your team, try your best to present what you can do, and show your value!

College of Management holds “moving forward in your career” alumni seminar

The College of Management invites three alumni from the Department of Business Administration, Huang-Chun Lu, Project Manager at the Taiwan Design Center, Yi-Chi Huang, Project Manager at Logitech, and Chia-Te Wu, Fengshan Branch Manager at Far Eastern International Bank, to share their career experiences. This seminar is not only a kind of experience transfer but also a huge encouragement to students. Students who participate in the seminar learn and benefit from it.

Yun-Yau Chang, an alumnus of the Department of International Business, talks about his days at Alibaba

Yun-Yao Chang, an alumnus of the Department of International Business and currently the Global Account Manager of Alibaba, talks about his work at Alibaba and his job hunting experience. According to his opinion, the international experience he had at YZU helps a lot. For example, he joined Yuan Ze GMAT international employment talent training program and became an exchange student in Oklahoma State University USA, a sister university of YZU.

President of Police University, an EMBA alumnus, addresses crisis management

Hsiu Neng Hsieh, President of Central Police University, is an EMBA alumnus. He has served as the Chief Commissioner in Taipei City, Pingtung County, Taoyuan County (now Taoyuan City), and Kaohsiung City. He has also served as the Vice-President of Taiwan Police College and the Deputy Director General of the National Police Agency. In a speech in the College of Management, Hsieh shares his experiences in law enforcement environments, and earns acclaim from the audience.

New Book releases: Fight for the Future

The new book event is hosted by YZU Public Affairs Office at the Regent Hotel on November 13. The book, “Fight for the Future”, contains stories of 27 alumni with outstanding achievements. YZU invites many alumni to join the event and share their stories and thoughts about the book. All of the guests and students learn the legacies of YZU.
